Diamonds & Pearls, Oh My!

Happy Pi Day!  
     Pretty sure I was meant to be named Jewel...I truly love all things that sparkle! Which is probably why when I was presented with the opportunity to do a magazine spread with CH Premiere in WestField Valleyfair- I eagerly agreed! A chance to shoot amazing jewelry? Yes please! I'm very thankful that Sing Tao gave me the opportunity to do this once-in-a-lifetime spread :) It's not everyday a girl gets to wear a 17-carat (yup, that's seventeen) diamond ring!

     Here are a couple pics I snagged in between jewelry changes!

Sparkles for December.

     Tis' the season to glam up my nails! These polishes were all sent to me by Beyond Polish- a super convenient website where you can order all your favorite nail polish brands all in one place. Now, as a lover of all thing sparkly I find myself going with glitter nail polish about 90% of the time!
     The first one that caught my eye was this one from O.P.I called Kiss Me at Midnight (from Mariah Carey Collection). Since I am a lighter skin tone, I usually prefer dark colors but this particular blue definitely caught my eye! I loved how concentrated the glitter was for this color and was really impressed because with glitter nail polishes, I find myself having to brush on at least 2-3 coats for a true-to-bottle color. I've never had a textured nail polish before and the whole package just seemed so fitting for the winter season; it reminded me of the snow and the texture was the perfect finish touch. 

 

     As mentioned above, I usually wear a darker tones on my nails. This one was more my style and I wanted to try this brand because I've heard wonders about it. This is day 2 of the color from CND Vinylux named Dark Lava (post shower and errand running) and I usually get chips by now but this one is a strong one! I love the metallic-y purple sheen this polish gives off! And I tried to do without sparkles this time but as usual, I can't help myself. Within a couple of hours, I found myself furiously painting on this chunky red glitter from the Jessica Effects Glitzy Collection called Sizzle. My favorite holiday is during this time and the red sparkles just complimented the season so well! I layered the glitter (two coats) over the purple and voila! This happened :) Try layering different polishes to see what cool effects you can get!

Cheetah & Fringe

     These hot pants are super comfy and definitely the pop of color I want to end the Fall season with a bang. I love the dark and light contrast (& I've been in love with orange lately in case you guys haven't noticed) and wanted to go with a city-girl type of look today. The classic button under sweater is a great way to tone down these bottoms and keep warm in SF. The pant and the sweater are both from jcrew (one of my favorite places for style steals) and the button up is from abercrombie.
     I wanted to keep the look simple with a jeweled necklace from the jcrew outlet and gold watch from michaelkors. Topped it off with some comfy cheetah keds (mine are a bit worn :( ), a fringe yellow purse I got on sale from nordstromrack, and I am ready to go exploring in the beautiful city of San Francisco!

I love the off-the-shoulder look with the giant bow on this magenta & white dress from Charlotte Russe! And the shoes have a little bow that match it as well :) This was my favorite look of the shoot. It's a very cute and simple look for a girls night out or even a nice date!

My second look was a black and white hi low dress! The zipper detailing and the sequins really make the dress something special. It'd be super cute for a school dance or a nice dress up dinner. The shoes were amazing- the ankle straps gave it a nice pop of detail :)

Yay! I finally had a chance to do a shoot yesterday! :) Felt goooood! I missed it!
These super cute and chic dresses are from charlotterusse; I can totally see these dresses being used for a night out on the town or a school dance :)

The most intense shoot I've ever done.

...was this one right here! It was a good 10 hour, makeup/wardrobe change, in studio and outdoors, photoshoot! It was a rewarding experience and probably one of my favorite, most unique photosets to this day :)

Sigh, I miss photoshoots. Time to make time to do what I love! It's just been hectic lately, transitions on transitions! Things will settle down soon :) 

More photoshoots (new ones) to come, promise!

Changed the name!

I guess I didn't really like how my old one was sounding..
So today..
Went to muaythai in my pageant gear and helped them advertise. I also got interviewed by FAN TV! :)
I got dressed up and everything but when I'm not out and about I like to enjoy nectarines and I look like this.
Beware! Teehee.
