Pink!

Never have I ever been one to sport a pink dress but this number was definitely an exception (& Ryan Chua approved of it too!) It's such a happy color and perfect for the spring time. This V-neck pleated dress from Charlotte Russe was too cute to pass up and really flattering for all body types. I seem to fall back on the fit and flare as opposed to bodycon dresses just because I find it easier to move around in- what do you guys think?
This is a great spring dress and the shoes could be swapped out for a cute floral wedge or dressed up with a pair of stilettos for a night out!

Notice my toes match the dress :)

Adventure Time!

Happy New Year everyone! It's officially 2014...I'm really excited for the new year! How about you?
It always randomly rains here. It could be sunny one minute and pouring the next- it's super unpredictable. So with this in mind, I definitely used it as my excuse to buy this windbreaker/raincoat outer shell. If you know me, you know I absolutely love Adventure Time; it has such a sense of childhood, humor, and amazing life lessons that are eye opening even though I'm watching as an adult. In Taiwan, there are endless cartoons on clothes and what is trending right now just so happens to be my favorite cartoon (lucky me!)
This Jake jacket is awesome. The inner kid in me lit up when I saw this piece in Taiwan- I had to have it and it was really meant to be when I found out it was 50% off the original price, bringing my purchase to a total of ~$15 USD. Since it does rain sporadically, I went with these Sperry Topsider rainboots (yes, they make those!) and kept it simple with black 7 For All Mankind and a black Nike sports jacket to keep myself toasty underneath.
Who else loves cartoons?! ;)

Black and yellow, black and yellow!

The ears make the jacket!

Finished with Fiona the Human socks :)

Little Black Dress!

Not many people have heard of the brand MAJE but it's actually quite cute! The brand is based in Paris, France and actually has a sister store named SANDRO. I've been quite into their stuff recently so I thought I'd post my favorite MAJE dress here!
This little black dress can be dressed up or down. I decided to do a more casual street wear look with minimal accessories and some strappy cheetah heels to play it up a bit. The giant zipper and the school girl pleats were such a cute detail to this dress. The neoprene material forms great to any body shape and really gives the skirt a firm fit-n-flare at the bottom!
