Springtime

Ryan Chua and I were able to catch a particularly sunny day in SF last week! It was (for once) awesome weather for a quick shoot! Actually, the weather was pretty nice last week for a couple days before this week's rain and gloominess dropped in upon us. Oh San Francisco, why must you be such a tease with this weather.
This hi-low dress from Charlotte Russe would be absolutely stunning for the upcoming Spring/Summer season!
The dress itself is easy to slip on and off (because it's strapless) and has a beautiful lace-like overlay as the skirt to flatter your waist line. I could see it with a pair of strappy nude pumps (pictured here) or if you're going to the beach- wedges would be a great look too!

One can never go wrong with nude pumps!

Diamonds & Pearls, Oh My!

Happy Pi Day!
Pretty sure I was meant to be named Jewel...I truly love all things that sparkle! Which is probably why when I was presented with the opportunity to do a magazine spread with CH Premiere in WestField Valleyfair- I eagerly agreed! A chance to shoot amazing jewelry? Yes please! I'm very thankful that Sing Tao gave me the opportunity to do this once-in-a-lifetime spread :) It's not everyday a girl gets to wear a 17-carat (yup, that's seventeen) diamond ring!
Here are a couple pics I snagged in between jewelry changes!

This Bez Ambar 17-carat ring! (that I'll probably never get to wear again)

Ahh! I couldn't get over how beautiful it was!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend

Pearl bangles for look #2!

All the pearls (Yoko London) for Jewel :)

High-Rise Shorts & Cheap Finds.

Like I mentioned before, I love sales and digging through sale piles- there seems to always be hidden treasure among the sale racks. I went through H&M a while ago and came across this button up: a large, metallic-y gray, loose fitting top. It was definitely love at first sight! Despite the fact that it was a size large, I quickly grabbed it because it was only $5 and I could definitely see the top being worn over and over again.
This top is actually wearable with leggings (it covers your butt) but it was a nice enough day in San Francisco to wear shorts! These Forever 21 shorts were only $13.50 and came is red, blue, tan, and black- a great selection of colors. I paired up my outfit with polka dot tights from Taiwan as well as these creeper-like shoes (also from Taiwan). The whole outfit together was a little under $30, definitely a steal in my book.

I love the sheer-sparkly look of this top!

These glasses are super cool!

See details of my nails from Beyond Polish below!

A candid to end my post :)

These colors looks awesome together! :)

I used the gold leaf flakes on a nude color as well!
